SteveMcCurry is an American photographer. He’s also a freelance photographer and photojournalist. His photo "Afghan Girl", where a girl with piercing green eyes. It has appeared on the cover of National Geographic several times. McCurry has photographed many assignments for National Geographic in the time change. McCurry has been a member of Magnum Photos since 1986.

Afghan Girl
He’s very famous for “Afghan Girl”. He took Afghan Girl in December 1984. She was a 12-year-old Pashtun orphan, in the Nasir Bagh refugee camp near Peshawar, Pakistan. The famous McCurry found the girl when he heard "unexpected laughter" which was coming from children inside a one-room school. Ans it was a tent for girls.

Annie Lebovitz

Annie Lebovitz is considered one of the best portrait photographers in America. She developed trademark use of bold colors. It was posted while she was in Rolling Stone. Annie Lebovits landed a job at Rolling Stone in 1970. Then she went to create a look for the publication, as chief photographer. In 1983, she began working for an entertainment magazine called Vanity Fair. There she was continuing to make images that were iconic and also provocative.

In 1983, with a wider array of subjects, Annie Leibovitz’s photographs reached every class of people which was the biggest outcome of her work. Annie Leibovitz's shoots also became top budgets which later at the center of major financial challenges.

Ansel Adams, an iconic American photographer. He’s best known for his grandiose black-and-white photographs of the American West. Ansel Adams’s images of Yosemite National Park are some of the most iconic works in history. Adams formed Group f/64 with Edward Weston and Imogen Cunningham, the goal of elevating photography to high art at a time. At that time it was only considered a form of documentation. Ansel Adams was also environmentalist, he traveled throughout the country to capture the grandeur of natural sites. Adams died on April 22,1984, in Monterey, CA at the age of 82.

Ansel Adams's great work was completed by 1950 as a photographer. In his later life, he spent most of his energy as a photographer on reinterpreting his earlier work and on editing books of his own work (often with his frequent collaborator, Nancy Newhall).  From 1934 to 1971 Adams served as a director of the Sierra Club. His books were about photography, especially natural landscapes. The most notable of these was  This Is the American Earth (1960; with Newhall), Other major titles by Adams include My Camera in the National Parks (1950) and Photographs of the Southwest (1976). In 1980, Ansel Adams was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Jimmy Carter.


Robert Capa

Born: October 22, 1913, Budapest, Hungary

Robert Capa worked for Depot. In 1931 and 1932. It is a German picture agency where he assumed the name, Robert Capa. Robert achieved fame as a war correspondent in the Spanish Civil War

Robert Capa’s famous saying about photography, “If your pictures aren’t good enough, then you aren’t close enough.” His photographs of the Normandy Invasion became some of the most memorable of World War II.

He worked in Palestine during the fighting in Palestine in 1948. Robert Capa’s task was spent guiding newer members of Magnum and also selling their work. In 1954 Capa volunteered to photograph the French Indochina War for Life. There he was killed by a land mine while he was doing an assignment. His untimely death helped establish a fearless photojournalist in the history of the photograph.

Joe McNally is known mostly for Flash Photography. In the history of Life Magazine’s 23 years, Joe McNally was the first one as a staff photographer from 1994. Joe McNally's most well-known series is the "Faces of Ground Zero — Portraits of the Heroes of September 11th", a collection of 246 giant Polaroid portraits and were exhibit by almost a million of people.
